**Responsibilities**:*
- Operating and managing the pastry section of the kitchen to ensure a successful working environment.
- Menu development, design or creates new ideas and items for pastry kitchen. Maintain products preparation handling and correct storage standards.
- Ensures and maintains the productivity level of employees, guide & motivate production team to work efficiently.
- Supervise production team in preparation of the shift operation.
- Provide training to Junior Baker on the skill, correct way in operating machine, equipment & tools
- Monitoring the stock of baking ingredients, equipment to ensure production running smooth & effective.
- Participate actively in quality initiatives such as daily chef briefings and monthly team meetings in order to constantly improve the production operation, meet production target and keep communication flowing.
- Ensuring their kitchen adheres to safety and health regulations.
**Education Level;**
- Professional Certificate / Diploma in Culinary Art, Pastry-Making, baking or relevant field.
- Working Experience - At least 2 years’ experience in manufacturing / bakery or similar positions.
**Special Skill/knowledge**
- Being able to resolve problems and efficiency.
- Being able to work under long hours.
- Motivated to learn and grow.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work with all levels of people.
- Have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines.
- Committed, mature, have pleasant disposition and able to work independently.
- Computer literate.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
