a. Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety legislation, guidelines, standards, policies, procedures and practices.

b. Responsible to oversee the work of subordinate i.e. assistant technicians.

c. Respond to all facility alarms, mechanical / electrical / elevator systems failures and any incidents during regular hours and after hours when on call. To follow up with the appropriate actions and then incident reports.

d. Responsible for alerting superior of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur.

e. Examine buildings on a regular basis for needed repairs, maintenance and general building’s cleanliness (electrical, plumbing, painting etc).

f. Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned. Responsible to regulate heating, ventilating and air-conditioning system (chillers, cooling towers, AHU, and FCU) to ensure providing cooling temperature appropriate for cozy shopping environment and to ensure economical usage of electricity, water and fuel.

g. Determine and set priorities on repair works and estimates the cost and timeline required of these pending works.

h. Responsible for setting up and dismantling of equipments and tools required for different promotional events and activities.

i. Participate competently in all general building cleaning and maintenance (electrical, plumbing, painting etc.) of the mall.

j. Organize and participate in all mechanical and electrical works in remodeling and renovation work.

k. Build, repair, and install counters, cabinets, benches, partitions, floors, doors, building framework and trim; use carpenter's hand tools and power tools.

l. Replace damaged ceiling tile, floor tile, plastic sheet wall coverings and fire doors.

m. Install hoarding boards and tarpaulin for vacant lots.

n. Prepare and paint walls and woodwork or perform other types of refinish; install carpet; and perform custodial duties such as welding if required.

o. Assist in monitoring all work being performed by external contractors.

p. Record down all works that have been carried on daily basis into log book, which is supposed to be kept at maintenance storeroom.

q. Establish and maintain effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

r. Ensure all correspondence and documentations being properly maintained and updated.

s. Execute all other duties relating to the Management of the Mall as directed by the Company.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: From RM1,600.00 per month
