As an Electrical Technician in the realm of theme parks, you'll be entrusted with maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing electrical systems vital to the seamless operation of various attractions and facilities within the park. Your role ensures that the magical experiences of visitors are never interrupted by technical glitches, and safety standards are rigorously upheld.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Maintenance and Repair**:

- Regularly inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including lighting, audio-visual equipment, ride controls, and power distribution networks.
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal functionality of attractions and facilities.
- **Troubleshooting**:

- Swiftly diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as power outages or equipment failures, to minimize disruption to park operations.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations outlined by relevant authorities to guarantee the well-being of park guests, employees, and assets.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and implement corrective measures as necessary to mitigate potential hazards.
- **Installation and Upgrades**:

- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical systems and components for park expansions or renovations.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to implement upgrades and enhancements to existing electrical infrastructure, ensuring compatibility with evolving technological requirements.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment specifications, and inventory levels to facilitate efficient workflow and resource management.
- Generate detailed reports on electrical system performance, including issues encountered, resolutions applied, and recommendations for future improvements.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical technicians, ride operators, and maintenance supervisors, to coordinate efforts and achieve common objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an electrical technician, preferably within the context of theme parks, entertainment venues, or similar environments.
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation to facilitate troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as NEC (National Electrical Code), NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), and ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials).
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to diagnose complex electrical issues and develop effective solutions under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, from frontline staff to senior management.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required to support park operations and respond to emergencies.
- Certification or licensure in electrical trades, such as journeyman electrician or equivalent, is highly desirable.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
