**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

*Request and plan min Two days in advance for full PPE (if applicable), schedule of SIC, site location and contact Personal on the first day of work.

*Attend complete orientation, introduction of superior, JSJD, clear scope of work for next working day on First day of work on site.

*To check the approved WPS, PQR (with respective standard) before welding works and make sure to have WQT certificate before start welding works. To check the validity of WQT certificates.

*Follow As per supervisor instruction in DWI.

*As per supervisor instruction done and carried out for 3G,4G, 5G, 6G & 3F,F4 & 5F welding (upon requirement).

*Ability to read Electrical, instrumentation supports typical and Piping Joints.

*Prepare simple shop fab drawings to carry out the fit up works.

*Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements. Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g: cut material with powered saws to match measurements).

*Select proper fillers for jobs based on previous experience or project instructions.

*Attain Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) and Pass test conducted as per project requirements. Perform MIG, TIG and other types of weld based on project needs.

*Able to set up GTG 1,2.22KV step up Transformer will carrying out Welding works.

*Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded. Field install welds, including duct work, light fixtures, vents, fans, metal sheeting and other parts.

*Experience in using electrical or manual tools Small tools (saws, squares, calipers etc) and experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA etc).

*Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).

*Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.

*Visual inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws. De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture.

*Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

*Knowledge of relative safety standards and experience in using protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc) as per safety requirements.

*Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is required.

*Able to speak simple English. Coordinate with field labor crew for efficient installations.

*To ensure all waste generated are properly disposed (Daily Housekeeping).

*To fulfil and achieve higher weekly and daily targets.

*Prepare and comply the safe work condition before the start work (PTW, fire watch man, Fire Blanks, Fire Extinguisher, etc).

*Prepare and to meet the quality welding works before the start work (Use correct type of welding machine MIG or TIG and welding electrode & electrode preservation, portable electrode oven, edge preparation, minimum passes and control of welding station & defects etc).

*Do cable ladder support, Lighting Pole/ JB Support, LCS support and Instrument supports welding.

*Work Progress Update And Mitigation Plan Discussing In Daily Toolbox Meetings.
