Hse Trainee

**Requirements**:
1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with minimum CGPA 3.30 in a related

field such as:

- Occupational health & safety
- Environmental science/management

2. Proven in HSE understanding.

3. Possess positive attitude, team leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to deal

with staff at all levels.

4. Good spoken and written English skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Actively demonstrate QHSE Leadership in own department and for the company in general.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of the QHSE management system.
- Ensure your Department contributes to the company’s and follows personal QHSE objectives.
- Manage QHSE Risk at the Project Level.
- Actively contribute to QHSE culture in own department and in the company in general.
- Participate in the maintenance of content in the QHSE management system.
- Understand and follow the QHSE management system.
- Assist your Department in achieving company's, and personal QHSE objectives.
- Demonstrate an awareness of QHSE Risk.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To ensure that safety policies, standards and procedures are enforced in all areas of the

company.
- To coordinate and actively participate in the screening and HSE training of all personnel,

including contractors.
- To ensure that the relevant HSE documentation is updated and available on the site.
- To actively monitor & follow-up on HSE reports and facilitate LPT meetings, HSE audits.
- To support HSE Officer in investigations of failures and accidents.
- To develop and maintain a high level of awareness among all personnel through

communications, training, and promoting active involvement of employees in HSE.
- To recommend improvements to the HSE programme through new safety technologies or

method to improve workplace safety management and message communication efficiency.
- To analyse HSE trends for the location and ensuring reports are correctly logged.
- To drive safety related continuous improvement in all areas of company (Design for HSE).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
