Gear Machinist

Job Responsibilities: 1.Prepare and Operate gear hobbing machines,, spur gears, helical gears, bevel gears... 2.Understand gear related data calculations. 3.Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc. 3. Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts. 4. Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result. 5. Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly. 6. Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality. Requirements : 1. Proven experience as gear machinist. 2. Skill in operating gear hob machine, gear shaper machine, gear milling machine. 3. Knowledge of modulus specifications for various gears. 4.Good communication abilities.
