**Summary of Responsibilities**:
**Your responsibilities will be to**:

- To be aware of and uphold security responsibilities as stated in the company’s Information Security Policy
- Coordinates and plans work packages for security governance, controls implementation and project execution for team members within the department / Information Services division
- Stays informed about the latest developments in the information security field, including new products and services, through online news services, technical magazines, professional associations, industry conferences, training seminars, and other information sources
- Monitors current and proposed laws, regulations, industry standards, and ethical requirements related to information security and privacy, so that Merchantrade is warned in advance and ready to be fully compliant with these requirements
- Provides users and management with technical consulting services on matters related to information security such as the criteria to use when selecting information security products or security requirements for any business initiative
- Acts as a technical information security reviewer of requirements statements, feasibility analyses, operating procedure manuals, and other documents produced during the systems development process and any information systems change documents
- Designs, develops, delivers, or oversees the delivery of classroom training and/or other information security awareness programs (videos, memos, computer-based training, etc.) delivered to users, technical staff, and management
- Conceives and proposes new approaches that will allow greater standardization and more effective management of security measures
- Brings pressing information security vulnerabilities to top management's attention so that immediate remedial action can be taken
- Coordinates Cyber Security initiatives, assessments, security incident monitoring and escalation
- Ensuring third-party vendor obligations are met from an IT Security Management perspective
- Assists in compiling and preparing management reporting pertaining to network infrastructure security project implementation, security incidents (breaches), history & trend analysis
- Prepares and periodically updates draft information security policies, architectures, standards, and/or other technical requirement documents needed to advance information security.
- Provides in-depth technical advice for investigations of information security incidents including internal frauds, hacker break-ins, and system outages
- Assists with the documentation of information security incidents as well as the analysis of the circumstances enabling or permitting these same incidents to take place;
- Participates on a computer emergency response team that responds to various security incidents such as denial of service attacks, virus infestations, and internal frauds;
- Provides technical guidance to the Information Technology Department staff about the risks and control measures associated with new and emerging information systems technologies
- Assists in the Disaster Recovery Planning Management implementation incorporating security best practices
- Manages/monitors WAF, IPS, DLP, PAM, SIEM, AV, FIM and Security alerts
- Proven penetration testing abilities, especially in a Financial services environment. These will include the ability to use automated pen-testing tools as well as carry out manual pen-testing.
- Ability to design and execute automated penetration testing modules to detect vulnerabilities during build time, coming up with innovative ways to integrate security into the SDLC
- Threat modeling and forensic experience.
- Reverse Engineering and Malware research experience.
- Executes Red Team engagements in a variety of networks using real-world adversarial
- Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) from conception to report delivery.
- Conducts open-source intelligence gathering, network vulnerability scanning, exploitation of vulnerable services, lateral movement, install persistence in a target network(s), and manage C2 infrastructure.
- Demonstrates expertise in one of the following: Active Directory, Software Development, Incident Response, or Cloud Infrastructure.
- Document identified vulnerabilities and research corrective/remediation actions in order to recommend a risk mitigation technique(s).
- Demonstrate new vulnerabilities and assist Network Defenders (Blue Team) with the refinement of detection capabilities.
- Provides technical guidance to the Information Technology Department staff about the risks and control measures associated with new and emerging information systems technologies;
- Manage/Monitor WAF, IPS, DLP, PAM, SIEM, AV, FIM and Security alerts
- Implementation of Security Orchestration and Automation Response
