Houseperson (Room Attendant)

Attend daily briefings to receive work assignments and instructions.
- Ensure that key standard procedures are followed during room cleaning.
- Properly pack trolleys with linen, stationery and necessary equipment before starting work.
- To clean and set up the guest rooms and bathrooms according to established standards.
- Check that lighting and television are in working order.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and materials for effective room cleaning.
- Report any defect related to room decor, equipment and fixtures.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Deliver requested items promptly.
- Report and deliver lost and found items to housekeeping clerk or supervisor for recording and safekeeping.
- Clean, stock and arrange pantries.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
- Report any health or safety hazards and unusual events.
- Carry out all duties assigned by housekeeper or supervisor.

**Job Requirements**:

- Prior experience as a room attendant is beneficial.
- Able to communicate in simple English & Bahasa Malaysia.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and products.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision while maintaining high performance standards.
- Able to multi-task.
