**JOB DESCRIPTION**
FASHION DESIGNER

**Brief description**

The position of fashion designer is to design and assist with the production of clothing, and accessories, identifies trends, and selects styles, fabrics, colours, prints and trims for a collection.

**Tasks**
- Study fashion trends and anticipate designs that will appeal to consumers
- Decide on a theme for a collection (Eid, bridal)
- Achieve every campaign’s product achievement
- Visit manufacturers or trade shows to get samples of fabric
- Handle the Tailor’s work schedule
- Good relationship with tailors & suppliers
- Provide/search new fabric samples from time to time
- Review fabrics, embellishments, colours, or a style for each garment
- Work with other designers or team members to create sample designs
- Present design ideas to creative directors
- Oversee the final production of their designs
- Make sure the products received are in good quality/designs

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
