Air-Conditioning Technician Roles and Responsibilities 1)Carry out daily rounding of the workplace to identify abnormalities and/or defects (eg, abnormal noise on AHU, duct leak, faulty lighting, damaged doorknobs or hinges, etc). Undertake troubleshooting and corrective actions as necessary. 2)Carry out scheduled planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities of air-conditioning system equipment (AHU, FCU, Heat Exchangers, Cabinet coolers, Split Units, etc) based on parameters listed in maintenance checklists provided. Where parts are replaced (eg, fan belts, capacitors) as part of the activity, this is to be recorded into the maintenance checklist accordingly. 3)Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) Systems 4)Carry out cooling tower cleaning based on planned schedule. 5)Propose list of common spare parts to be procured by Client. Subsequently, monitor inventory levels and highlight to Client for additional purchases when stock levels are low. 6)Open and close work orders for assigned tasks. 7)Respond to breakdowns or emergencies on an as-needs basis. 8)Comply with service standards, work instructions and customer’s requirements. 9)Ensure compliance with relevant Health, Safety and Environment standards and with regulatory and statutory compliances. 10)Attend to any other works that may be assigned by superior from time to time as required.
