Manage accounts receivable or accounts payable;
- Update financial records with daily transactions;
- Prepare balance sheets;
- Track and reconcile bank statements;
- Create cost analysis reports (fixed and variable costs);
- Process tax payments and prepare tax documents;
- Enter financial data into the Accounting software;
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports;
- Provide administrative support during budget preparation;
- Participate in quarterly and annual audits;
- Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct;
- Prepare payroll payments for employees;
- Create and update expense reports;
- Assist in preparation of annual accounts and annual budget;
- Assist with general bookkeeping.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial positions and balance sheet (P&L) and liquidity (cash flow), accounts receivable (customer billing and invoicing) and payable
- Perform journal entry updates to ledgers, accounts receivable and accounts payable, and any related general administrative tasks
- Administrative tasks include the compilation of available grants, partnership and agreement contracts, phone calls, scheduling meetings, office equipment and supplies; etc.
- HR duties like payroll, updating databases, maintaining records, reviews, responding to employee request.

**Requirements & Qualifications**
- A Diploma or a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance;
- An ACCA, CPA or CIMA or any other accountancy certification, is a bonus;
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the Accounts department, Finance department or work experiences as an auditor;
- MUST be very proficient with Xero;
- Experience working with an accounting or an audit firm is a bonus;
- An ability to manage multiple projects at the same time;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in English;
- Strong organisational and planning skills with good attention to detail and the ability to problem-solve;
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work;
- Well organised and meticulous in handling documents;
- Team player who can also work independently;
- Positive with a likeable and pleasant personality;
- Good knowledge of accounting practice;
- Experience with bookkeeping practices.

**Job Type**: Freelance

Pay: RM1,750.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
