_**Urgent hiring for Upper Secondary Teacher major in English.**_

**Teacher Requirements**:
1) Proven experience as a teacher major in English that is also willing to teach Maths, Science, and ICT.

2) Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow St. Marian’s policies and procedures.

3) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4) Well-organized and committed.

5) Creative and energetic.

6) Strong moral values, discipline, and sense of responsibility.

7) Basic knowledge of CPR.

**Teacher Job Duties**:
1) Develop lesson plans which meet established school and curriculum models.

2) Adapts and reassess lesson plans to meet specific student needs, comply with newly implemented guidelines or rules, update relevant information, and include new developments in education.

3) Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio/hands-on means to facilitate learning.

4) Manages the diverse ability levels of students and provides individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning.

5) Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.).

6) Adapts curriculum to fit student needs while maintaining overall class progress.

7) Possesses and continually develops a working knowledge of curriculum programs and frameworks.

8) Assesses and records student development, while identifying problem areas and areas which need attention and improvement and providing feedback to respective superiors.

9) Provides a safe, positive learning environment for students.

10) Observe and understand students’ behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse, etc.

11) Communicate with all other staff members who engage with students.

12) Communicates with parents as per St. Marian’s guidelines, including presenting student progress reports and informing parents of requisite student discipline if instructed to do so.

13) Maintains order and discipline of themselves and among students while promoting safety and compliance with St. Marian’s rules and guidelines.

14) Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences, etc as per instruction of St. Marian’s.

15) Attends and takes part in school meetings on curriculum, organization, and guidelines as per instruction of principal/appointment representative.

16) Plan and execute in-class and outdoor activities and events as instructed by St. Marian’s

17) Meet all deadlines as set by St. Marian’s.

18) Follow the dress code as set by St. Marian’s.

19) Any other duties appointed to the teacher by the principal or designated representative during the course of employment.

**Working Days**: Monday - Friday

**Working Hours**: 8am - 5pm

**Location**: Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
