**OVERVIEW**

A chef assistant provides support for the head chef of a restaurant. It will include managing inventory, ensuring that the kitchen meets food safety and cleanliness standards, and helping kitchen staff with food preparation.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To support the Head Chef in the kitchen, delivering consistently high-quality of food preparation.
- To ensure food preparation is done according to food quality standards.
- To carry out duties and ensure preparation and service as directed by the Head Chef.
- Ensure daily food preparation and tasks assigned by superiors to meet standards and quality.
- Able to estimate daily production requirements and check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure standards are met.
- Excellent knowledge of menu creation.
- To perform ad-hoc duties from time to time by the Head Chef.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**c) Experience**: At least 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

**d) Skills**:

- Able to multi-task efficiently.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to use common kitchen equipment and appliances safely.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
