Moulding Internship

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Assist in Molding Process Development: Collaborate with Molding Engineers to assist in the development and optimization of molding processes for new and existing products. Participate in trials and experiments to evaluate different molding materials, parameters, and tooling configurations.

**Process Monitoring and Optimization**: Work alongside experienced engineers to monitor and analyze molding process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and cycle time. Identify opportunities for process optimization to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

**Tooling Design and Maintenance**: Support the design, fabrication, and maintenance of molds and tooling used in the molding process. Assist in troubleshooting tooling issues and implementing corrective actions to ensure smooth operations.

**Quality Assurance and Testing**: Participate in quality assurance activities including conducting visual inspections, dimensional measurements, and material testing on molded parts. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to identify and address quality issues in a timely manner.

**Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of molding process parameters, experimental data, and test results. Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings, project progress, and recommendations for process improvements.

**Health and Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working in the manufacturing environment. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards for occupational health and safety.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a Diploma or Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Plastics Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong academic background with coursework in manufacturing processes, materials science, or polymer engineering preferred.
- Basic understanding of molding processes such as injection molding, compression molding, or blow molding is desirable.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software for mold design and analysis is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

**Salary**: RM1,000.00 - RM1,500.00 per month
