**Job Purpose**:

- Teaching Mathematics and Computing/Basic Programming Courses
- Teaching and assisting in class exercises/tutorials.
- Preparing assessment questions.
- Marking of assessment.
- Uploading assessment marks onto the UMS system.
- Preparing course file/report if required by the management.
- To participate in activities organized within the University and BAC.
- To review the mathematics/computing courses and syllabi from time to time or when necessary to make sure of their relevance.
- Works closely with the Head of Program to assist in any matters related to the mathematics and computing courses taught for the Bridging and Foundation programs.

**Job competencies**:

- Mathematics/Computational Mathematics
- Computing/Basic Programming
- Microsoft Word, Microsoft excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, Java, C/C++, E- learning platforms (Zoom/Ms Teams/Google Meet/LMS, Coursera,etc.)

**Job requirements**:

- Masters in Mathematics/Computational Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics or Masters in Computer Science/ Computing Information Technology
- Microsoft Word, Microsoft excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, Java, C/C++, E- learning platforms (Zoom/Ms Teams/Google Meet/LMS, Coursera,etc.)
- Specialization in Mathematics/Computational mathematics
- Specialization in Computing/ Basic Programming
- Cumulative 2-5 years relevant teaching experience in a government or private education institution.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
