Storekeeper

**Responsibilities**:

- General operations in the warehouse
- Execute the accurate handling, packing and storage of materials in the warehouse
- Receive stock, labelling, check quality, store the stock in the proper bin location for easy retrieval and document any damage
- Stock inventory management and organisation to make sure that the store/warehouse is kept tidy and clean at all times
- Stock inventory tracking and monitoring, including keeping records of incoming and outgoing materials and to make sure the inventory management system is accurately updated on-time
- To make sure the stock movement is based on FIFO concept and items with shelf life must be closely monitored to ensure its usage before expiry date
- To conduct regular stock take/ verification in order to make sure tallying of physical quantity against the system quantity
- To coordinate and liaise closely with the Finance Team for the smooth execution of scheduled annual/ bi-annual overall stock take
- To work closely with other professionals engaged / working in the entire mining operations for an effective smooth execution of daily activities at site;
- To make sure strict compliance with internal policies/ procedures and external regulatory requirements

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or related field
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of store/ warehouse operation.
- Experience in storekeeping, inventory control, and record keeping
- 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in store/ warehouse management. Fresh grad are encouraged to apply.
- Relevant experience in mining or construction industry
- Knowledge of supply chain is an added advantage
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel etc)

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
