Position Title: Teacher cum Admin Assistant

Location: Northern Lights Private School, Simpang Ampat, Pulau Pinang

Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time

Reports To: Principal/Head of Department

Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and effective lessons according to the school curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth.
- Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and projects.
- Provide support and extra help to students who may need it.
- Participate in curriculum development, school meetings, and professional development activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and reports.

Administrative Responsibilities:

- Organize and maintain school records, files, and databases.
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings for staff and parents.
- Support the preparation and organization of school events, meetings, and activities.
- Assist in managing supplies, resources, and inventory.
- Provide clerical support to the principal and other staff members as needed.
- Handle student attendance and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Administration, or a related field. Teaching certification is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in teaching and/or administrative roles is desirable.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
