Enviromental Officer

Ensure factory compliance to ISO 14001 or Environmental Management System.
- Ensure factory compliance to EQA 1974 and related regulations
- Identify applicable legal requirement, perform evaluation of compliance.
- Perform Environmental Aspect and Impact assessment and perform periodical review.
- Arrangement for external lab monitoring - air emission, wastewater, boundary noise
- Responsible for preventing or reducing environmental risk and formulating environmental protection and procedures.
- Monitor and ensure the company conformance with applicable legislation requirements of the Environmental Quality Act (EQA) 1974.
- Develop an environmental training plan and conduct environmental programmes and training for all employees.
- To liaise with authorities such as DOE and the Local Authority.
- EPMC and ERCMC meeting - prepare, coordinate, meeting, reporting, meeting minutes
- Identify a potential source of pollution and propose appropriate mitigation plans and supervise corrective measures to take.
- Ability to handle scrubber system is an added advantage

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Science
- Certified Environment Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWaM)
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in the related field is required.
- Knowledge in ISO quality & environmental management system.
- Possess a valid driver's license, own transport.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point).
- Good report and presentation skill.
- Possess good analytical skill.
- Good command of written and spoken English, B. Malaysia and/or Chinese.
- Focused, disciplined, work diligent and high integrity on duties.
- Self-starter and work independently.
- Able to interact with local authorities, consultants, contractors and all levels of staffs.
- Experience in handling foreign workers and multi-racial environment is an added advantage

**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
