**QS RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assessing and estimating the costs of materials, labor, and equipment required for construction projects.
- Preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and recommending contracts to clients.
- Monitoring project costs, identifying variances, and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Assessing work done and valuing completed construction work for interim payments.
- Identifying potential risks and providing advice on mitigating them.
- Administering contracts, including preparing contract documents, variations, and claims.
- Assessing and agreeing on final accounts at the end of construction projects.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensuring that all parties adhere to contractual terms and conditions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identifying and assessing potential risks associated with contracts and proposing risk mitigation strategies.
- Resolving disputes and claims that arise during the execution of contracts.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- Ensuring that all contractual obligations are fulfilled and finalizing contract closeout documentation.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree, diploma in quantity surveying, or similar qualification.
- 3 years and above of working experience.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Sound knowledge of construction practices.
- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize, plan, and strategize effectively.
- Strong networking abilities.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.

**Salary**: From RM2,500.00 per month
