French Language Teacher

Teacher of French Language (full time): - Plan, prepare and teach classes according to the students’ specific needs - Online teaching - Adapt teaching techniques to the public - Follow-up students’ progress - Create and mark tests - Perform administrative tasks (filling the class management software with the attendance and content of each class, report of grades, writing reports, etc) - Participate in team meetings - Participate in trainings In addition to the normal duties, the Teacher may be required to undertake additional duties from time to time, at the request of the Association, such as (but not limited to) taking and marking DELF/DALF examination papers (The teacher need to have a valid certification as DELF examinator min. B2 level), the conception, organization and follow-up of cultural activities, the promotion of French language at outside institutions, translation projects. The Teacher’s employment is valid for a period of two (2) years.
The Alliance Francaise de Penang is a not-for-profit organisation. Our mission is the promotion in the State of Penang of French culture and civilization generally and the dissemination of knowledge of the art, thought and language of France, exclusive of all political or religious matters.
