Summary
You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations. The Commissary Chef oversees the central kitchen operations, ensuring the efficient production and distribution of food items to various outlets. The Commissary Chef is responsible for menu planning, production management, kitchen operation supervision, quality control, inventory management, and effective collaboration with other departments.
**Qualifications**:
- Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open for Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia.
- Ideally with an apprenticeship or professional diploma/degree in Culinary Education.
- Work experience as Commissary Chef, Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef in an international hotel / F&B establishment is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
- Proficient in general computer knowledge, strong organizational and time management, interpersonal and administrative skills are essential.
