**Major Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:

- Assist Safety & Environmental Manager in the implementation of scheduled daytime / nighttime safety enforcement through workplace inspection, behavioral based safety by collaborating with relevant department to close critical findings by implementing effective corrective measures.
- Involve in the inspection at all areas of compound / facility for unsafe or unhealthy conditions and initiates corrective action as deemed necessary in ensuring safety of the TM’s and the company’s property.
- Assist in the implementation of contractor management system from the safety induction, Permit to Work (PTW) management and also frequent monitoring to ensure SHE requirements are fulfilled by contractors.
- Execution of plant level incident management program which will meet or exceed all legal and corporate minimum standards including the management of first aid facilities, maintenance of first aid equipment’s, inspection of the emergency equipment (i.e. SCBA, AED, Emergency Assembly Equipment)
- Provide treatment for minor ailments and first aid treatment to injuries, follow-up and referrals, and emergency care for job related injuries and illness during day / night shift.
- Lead partial or full emergency evacuation drills (fire, accident, gas leakage, chemical spillage, etc) during day / night shift as per company requirements with supervision from manager.
- Promote safety, health, awareness within the plant operative level by engagement in the SHE Score program, SOR, EOR and other engagement activities.
- Examine plans and specifications for new machinery and layouts to ensure appropriate safety measures are in place (guarding, ergonomics, safe handling and etc).
- Deliver basic SHE operational training and briefing to TM, contractors as and when necessary.

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- Min. Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, or attended Safety and Health Officer Course or OSH Coordinator.
- Preferably 2-5 years’ experience in contractor management or Incident Management
- Registered OSH Coordinator is an added advantage.
- At least 2-3 years involvement in manufacturing.
- Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia - spoken and written. Nepal / Bangladesh language is an added advantage.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
