**Job Summary**

The Head of Department - Lifecycle and Proactive Maintenance is responsible for leading and managing the maintenance team to ensure the efficient operation and longevity of all equipment and systems within an organization. This role involves developing and implementing proactive maintenance strategies, managing equipment lifecycle, and overseeing maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.

2. Manage the maintenance team, including hiring, training, and performance management.

3. Coordinate with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and ensure mínimal disruption to operations.

4. Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement or potential issues.

5. Manage equipment lifecycle, including planning for upgrades or replacements as needed.

6. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with maintenance standards and regulations.

7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schedules, repairs, and replacements.

8..Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies related to equipment maintenance.

9. Develop and manage department budget, including forecasting and cost control.

**Qualifications**

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, maintenance management, or a related field.

2. Minimum of [X] years of experience in equipment maintenance, with at least [X] years in a leadership role.

3. Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, practices, and techniques.

4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.

5. Ability to develop and implement maintenance strategies to achieve organizational goals.

6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Certification in maintenance management or a related field is a plus.

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
