RESPONSIBILITIES 1 Studying and interpreting drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished parts, sequence of operations and set-up requirements 2 Loading parts, proving tapes, operating controls, setting offsets, advanced editing, deburring and inspecting parts for conformance to requirements 3 Assisting in training new Toolmaker apprentice 4 Communicating with supervisor, engineers, Mold Designer, quality control and other shop personnel for assignments and resolution of quality issues 5 Keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly 6 Performing basic preventive maintenance on machine 7 Maintaining/update departmental production records. QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE 1 At least SPM 2 At least 5 years’ experience in tooling field 3 Good communication skill and leadership qualities 4 Capable to train Machinist and Junior Machinist in handling daily job 5 Able to read tooling drawing
