Gelang Patah, Malaysia Olam Food Ingredients (ofi) Full time

Responsible for the operation and ensure of maintenance work such as Preventive Maintenance, Daily Checklist and Calibration activities are run as per normal condition.
- Ensure all SCADA & PLC system run in good condition.
- Performs regular maintenance activity such temperature transmitter, pressure transmitter, flow meter and all instrument equipment in production plant.
- Performs all Preventive Maintenance activity such daily checklist, weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annually following as required Maintenance Department, Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) and update the record of job done.
- Inspects, tests, adjusts, and repairs electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems used to indicate, record, and control generating operations in conventional or Inspects meters, indicators, and gauges to detect abnormal fluctuations.
- Performs calibration for all instrumentation equipment activity at production plant following the schedule of calibration activity and calibration philosophy.
- Work effectively with Engineer and others by sharing ideas in a constructive, positive manner for support their job when necessary.
- Maintain job commitment for safety rules & regulation, comply by DOSH. Report all incident & accident happen to Maintenance Manager and Safety Executive.
- Support night; off/rest day time by providing telephone support and assistance, as necessary.
- Any other duties as required and assigned by the Management.
- Ensure safety, 5S, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Ensure all responsibilities and activities associated with this role meet the required health, safety and environmental laws regulations, obligations and duty of care.
- Work in conjunction with Outspan Management to ensure this area is well managed with respect to: i. Risk management, incident management, reporting and injury management. ii. Culture of safe behavior in all aspects of this position and workplace. iii. Health and safety of employees, and any other persons, is not affected by doing a job in your workplace. iv. Safe plant and equipment and a healthy safe work environment. v. Safe use, handling, storage and transport of substances products and materials. vi. Attended training has been arranged by management.
- Ensure OH&S guidelines are being adhered to across all Outspan premises.
- Ensure all responsibilities and activities associated with this role meet the requirement of service quality, product quality and product safety.
- Work in conjunction with Outspan Management to ensure this area is well managed with respect to: I. Maintaining a hygienic processing environment to deliver safe and consistent products to our customer. II. Demonstrating a full commitment in quality and food safety throughout the production chain. III. Continual improve the work processes to eliminate / control / reduce any potential hazards to the products. IV. Attended training has been arranged by management. - Ensure food safety and quality policy, GMP, Food Safety and Halal guidelines are being adhered to across all Outspan premises.
