Material Handler

**Working Hour**:

- 12 hours rotational shifts (7am-7pm, 7pm-7am)
- (Morning and Night), 3 work 2 off or 2 work 3 off
- (Morning Only) 4 work 3 off or 3 work 4 off

- Assist in coordinating the activities of subordinates involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment
- Review customer orders, examines, stocks, and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines
- Check goods received/for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods, and rejects unsatisfactory items
- Package and prepare products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges
- Arrange for nonstandard crating, rigging and trucking work through proper channels
- Perform and reports cycle counts
- Review difficult or complex work procedures to answer questions presented by workers
- Operate a sit-down forklift as needed
- Model continuous improvement and alignment with Lead methodologies behaviors for peers

Other Job Responsibilities

Safety Protocol:

- Complete all required safety training
- Follow safe work practices by lifting no more than 35 pounds, using ergonomic pads, stretching when needed, etc.

Adhere to personal/ and product safety guidelines by:

- Utilizing appropriate PPE following clean room procedures
- Following Lockout Tagout policies and procedures (LOTO and ZEST)
- Utilizing fixtures (lift hoists, lift track, gantry cranes, lifting tool) to aid in the assembly of tools
- Perform Risk Management by Walking Around (RMBWA) inspections and document, correct and/or escalate safety issues/hazards to appropriate individuals/departments
- Respond directly and quickly to unsafe practices; escalate to next level manager (safety representative, lead, supervisor, manager); and escalate any unresolved issues (incorrect use of hoist, poor placement of tools/cords/ladders, etc., not using cones or barriers, PPE misuse)

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Education level SKM or Diploma
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- To work in rotation shift
- Experience in operating material handling
- Trained in operating different types of Material Handling Equipment - Forklift preferred
- Ability to read/write and to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials
- Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving documentation requirements
- Ability to review and audit material using Word, Excel & SAP, inventory skills
