**Purpose of the position-** Responsible for planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities on Electrical and Instrument equipment such
as VFD, DCS, analyzers and field instrumentation. Responsible for Low voltage & Instrumentation commissioning for new plant and pipeline. Responsible for preparing detail report on high impact or repetitive E&I issues.

**Principal responsibilities**:

- To perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance with due diligent and at a timely manner so that plant breakdown is kept at minimum.
- Making sure instrument calibration certificate & records been update in a timely manner
- To perform Safety Instrumented System (SIS)/ Critical Safety System (CSS) prove test in a timely manner.
- To take lead in performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for instrument related issues when required.
- Timely perform Analyzer and other instrument equipment calibration
- To liaise closely with Operation personnel on performing preventive maintenance programs and responsible for carrying out SAP based preventive program in a timely manner.
- To lead in planning (TA) annual plant shutdown task until its execution.
- To raise management of changes (eMOC) of any modification done to the exiting setup
- To take lead in handling contractors and supervise them in performing major task
- To carry out regular inspection on plant equipment and assess its reliability.
- To support plant breakdown/callout during non-working hours when required
- To strictly follows plant safety rules and follows its procedure
- To take care of critical spares availability and replenish after usage.

**Required qualifications/experience**
- Diploma/Bachelors/ in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
- At least 3-4 years experience in the fields of operation and maintenance of chemical, industrial gases or manufacturing set up

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
