Installing pumps, filters, and other equipment used to treat wastewater for reuse or disposal -Collecting samples of water, soil, or air to test for contaminants -Inspecting equipment to ensure that it is working properly and efficiently Reviewing data to determine whether adjustments need to be made to treatment methods or schedules -Cleaning and repairing equipment such as pumps, tanks, and pipes used in wastewater treatment processes -Maintaining records of equipment maintenance, repair work orders, and other activities related to the operation of treatment facilities -Operating equipment such as pumps and filters used during treatment processes -Conducting chemical tests to monitor the effectiveness of wastewater treatment methods -Maintaining public safety by monitoring water quality, chlorine levels, and pH levels to ensure that drinking water is safe from contamination
