Site Automation Technical Lead

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia ATS Global Full time

**This is an important role to assist with the design, build, installation, commissioning and support of electrical automation and control projects in a “Greenfields“ Building Management System (BMS) environment.**

Employee in this role from user requirements specifications to create functional design specifications, before taking part in factory acceptance tests, site installation, commissioning, production of operation and training manuals, and customer training.

On completion of the project, this person will serve as part of a support group maintaining deployed systems to ensure their operability within the production environment.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Engagement in **DC/BMS/automation/control**/**IT** projects through the project lifecycle
- Provide technical, operation and maintenance training to customers and internally, as required, including training documentation
- Production of quality test, commissioning, operation, safety and maintenance and project **documentation** for internal & external use
- Interface with all levels of internal & external stakeholders for **detailed** **planning** and **delivery** of the project
- **Electrical** system knowledge

**YOUR PROFILE**
- At least **5 years’** experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of **BMS processes including BIM experience**:

- Experience in **construction industry** is required
- **An ability to self-manage the delivery of DC/BMS projects in line with an agreed FDS is critical to this position**:

- Ability to work in a team and provide guidance to less experienced staff
- Experience with at least **2 brands of PLC or control systems**:

- Experience with instrumentation implementation/integration
- Knowledge of **SCADA** systems - Experience in Ignition/Scada platform well regarded though not compulsory
- Some experience in Document Control would be well regarded
- Ability to interpret and modify some drafted documents particularly for As-Built adjustments is well regarded
- **Competence in Bahasa Malaysia. English would also be well regarded**:

- **Must have existing citizenship of Malaysia or work rights in Malaysia**
