**Key Responsibilities**

**Strategy & Planning**
- Originate deal ideas, develop, formulate and implement marketing plans and strategies for TMT sector and in
- line with department’s business objectives.
- Participate in account planning with relevant internal stakeholders, if and where required.
- Identify regional business opportunities, develop, build and enhance new and existing client relationships.
- Develop and constantly enhance sector specific domain knowledge and support the dissemination of sector specific knowledge throughout the CIMB network.
- Develop and implement new capabilities to offer comprehensive and integrated solutions to clients and, at the same time, manage or minimise the firm’s financing and reputational risk.
- Keeps abreast of the market landscape and key industries highlights in order to look out for cross-border opportunities and cross-sector business strategies and capitalise on these opportunities.

**Business Performance**
- Marketing and structuring of comprehensive and effective proposals to clients to achieve sector’s revenue target.
- Oversee execution of mandated deals for timely delivery and high quality standard.
- Assist to cross-sell & bundle products offered by CIMBG in proposals to clients.
- Assist Wholesale Bank with sector-specific domain knowledge in relation to the development and approval of financing proposals.
- Coordinate with regional teams on cross-border deals.
- Work together with M&A team, procure and engage target buyers list on proposed trade sale, if any.

**People Management & Resource Planning**
- Identify training needs and promote personal development.
- Work to maintain and develop the organisational culture, values and reputation in the Group markets and with all staff, customers and regulatory/official bodies.
- Supervise and motivate the sector team to achieve sector’s revenue targets and activities.
- Train and guide sector team and coverage bankers to deepen understanding and knowledge within TMT.
- Develop, build, motivate and lead an effective and cohesive regional collaboration on corporate client coverage activities.
- Share and institutionalise best practices and knowledge, develops sector capabilities and acts as a coach / mentor to selected key talents.

**Regulatory Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with CIMB Group policies & procedures, Department’s policies and procedures, client mandates, and requirements from external auditors.
- Keep abreast with key regulatory considerations, latest regulatory requirements and issues that could impact the particular sector.

**Others**
- Provide industry outlook for inclusion into credit paper, and provide industry outlook and updates for the respective sectors to CIMBG internal committees, where required.
- Provide sector overview, outlook and recommendation on the relevant sector in marketing documents.
- Review of documents from the perspective of sector, ie: Information Memorandum, IMR, key investment highlights, equity story, and relevant sections of the Prospectus.
- Perform any other responsibilities / tasks as assigned by management from time to time.

**Key Requirements**:

- Bachelor or Master's Degree or Professional Qualification in the relevant discipline (Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics or equivalent professional qualification).
- At least 10 years of investment banking experience as an analyst.
- Proven record in leadership, transaction origination and execution success.
- Extensive background in TMT Sector.
- Very strong ability to work laterally on multiple projects with numerous teams at every level of transaction and personnel.
- Very strong computer literacy especially in financial modeling and valuation.
- In-depth knowledge of wholesale and investment banking products and services, including the rules and regulations in the domestic and regional landscapes.
- Good reputation and business network in the wholesale and investment banking community.
- Good presentation and influencing skills.
- Able to work in collaboration with other teams.
- Sound people management skills.
