**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or with LLB qualifications, or related field required.
- 5 to 10 years of related experience required.
- Preferably Senior Executive / Asst. Manager / Manager specializing in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation & influencing skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Multi-tasking in HR process including Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, Welfare & Bene-fit, etc.
- Strong knowledge & experience in Malaysian Labour Law, IR/ER, Employment Act & other related legislation.
- To be able to drive changes and be a change agent

**Job Descriptions**:

- Managing relationships with employees & ensuring that the Company’s treatment of employees is consistent with its core business values and objectives.
- Plan, coordinate and manage various Positive ER programs and activities to promote Company Values and Great Place to Work.
- Collating and analyzing employee feedback across all levels on a regular basis and revising people programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes.
- Receive, evaluate and respond appropriately to employee concerns upon due investigations of complaints and recommend corrective actions.

The IRER Manager is responsible for Industrial Relation activities including managing and up keeping the IR framework, formulating strategies and provides direction in the company’s IR practices. Upholding and promoting Ethical behavior and Integrity throughout our organization. Handling disciplinary cases and advising management on best practices. Set direction, create policy, and offer expert advice in all matters relating to collective bargaining, if any, and corporate-wide employees’ disciplinary & Industrial relations issues. To also contribute to overall management of employees to ensure their productivity, engagement, professional development and wellbeing, by putting in place systems to prevent and resolve employee issues which arise out of work situations. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
**Industrial Relation**
- Developing of policies, protocol, Employee Handbook, procedures etc that complying to the Malaysia Employment Act and other applicable regulatory, to enhance the organization practices with effective implementation & employees’ compliances.
- Overseeing and implementing Ethical guidelines, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of integrity and transparency.
- To communicate or provide guidance / advice to ensure that all staff are aware of the company’s protocols, disciplinary procedures, policy, Employee Handbook etc and that employees are knowledgeable and have access to the relevant handbooks when needed.
- Monitor employee’s discipline and provides guidance and recommends appropriate disciplinary actions for major and minor cases depending on facts / precedents / domestic inquiry outcomes.
- Conduct Domestic Inquiry (DI) proceedings in accordance with the law and liaise with legal advisors, government and statutory agencies when required. Work with the HR and departmental Managers with respect to disciplinary action required, including preparation of documents, investigation of any offence, scheduling hearings, and attendance at hearings as appropriate role to play.
- Forming of the panel team members for internal hearing (DI) with appropriate training and coaching
- To provide consultation, handling of complaints, managing grievance procedures and facilitating counseling in conjunction with other stakeholders. Lead the entire grievance process through proper channels and ensure all grievances are settled amicably.
- Provides advice, directions, investigating and resolving complex or critical IR issues and the organization’s overall IR practices in a timely and effective manner.
- Research and keep abreast with latest employment law, IR Act and regulations etc by monitoring and implementing the guidelines provided by Malaysian authorities. Advises the organization on labour-related regulatory requirements and compliance, and leading the update of internal documentation, eg Employee Handbook, IR and ER policies, work instructionsetc on timely manner to ensure compliances.
- Prepare and reviewing of contractor’s contract and agreement for support of business operation, drafting and administer the notice of renewal, notice of termination etc, and conflict resolution, if any.Undertake other role & responsibilities that are assigned by the company and immediate superior from time to time until full closure.
