A site technician’s main role is towards the installation and maintenance of solar panels.

**1. Installation upon Request**

During his employment period, the technician is required to attend to installation request by engineers and to install solar panels based on the engineering drawing. If there are any technical disagreement with the engineers’ drawing, it shall be raised directly for further discussion prior to installation. The installation process includes but not limited to:

- Wiring installation
- Solar panel installation
- Inverter installation
- Safety items installation (AC/DC MCB, Fuse, Surge Protection Devices, etc)
- Battery installation (if required)

**2. Site inspection**

Prior to actual installation, technician is required to do initial site inspection to understand the (1) roofing structure and area, (2) property voltage and current setting (single phase, three phases, 11kV, 33kV, etc) and (3) TNB meter serial number and location.

**3. Transportation to Site**

Site technician are required to drive to site for either installation or maintenance purpose. All materials and tools required will be taken from storage and it shall be logged in the logbook at storate site.

**4. Maintenance upon Request**

In any request from engineers to do maintenance, the technician shall attend to such request upon understanding the need from engineer. Maintenance work ranges from basic (clearing solar panel of debris) to difficult (rewiring of solar system).

Requirement
- Minimum PW2 Certificate/Diploma/Certificate (familiar with solar working environment is preferred)
- Minimum Certified Competent/GCPV Wireman Certificate from SEDA
- Added value if registered Competent Electrical Wireman Certificate under Category PW2 - PW4
- Able to work well and understand electrical installation and safety procedures.
- Able to monitoring for electrical equipment and problem analysis
- Able to work in Batu Pahat, Johor and travel to site.
- Good attitude and able to work in team.

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
