Claim/underwriter at Cyberjaya

Position : Life Claims or Underwriters, Associate to Specialist (permanent)

Working location - Cyberjaya (Mon to Fri, 8:30am to 5:30pm)

**Our Client,** is the hub for shared services and provides insurance and finance support operations to the entities across the Asia-Pacific regions.

**This job, **Seeking talents experience to provide and support technical operation in life claim or underwriting to the entities in Singapore or Hong Kong based on Cyberjaya.

**Requirements**:

- **Associate claims and underwriter** to support operation in Singapore or Hong Kong
- Open to fresh degree for entry level and diploma with 2 years experiences
- Field of study in Medical Science and related.

Senior Associate to Specialist level, life **claims and underwriter (Singapore or Hong Kong)**
- **Direct experience hiring, **at least min 2 year claim or underwriting experience from life insurance
- **Indirect experience and similar skills**, min **3 years** doing nursing, medical lab, healthcare or Medical science related experience
- Language Proficiency English AND Mandarin to Cantonese for Singapore (optional)
- **Read, write and Speak **mandarin or Cantonese and English for Hong Kong

**Special requirements, supporting Hong Kong Country**
- **Specialist,** life claim or underwriter - experience hire, prefer at least 3-4 years **life** claim or underwriter from life insurance
- Education prefer medical science background.
- Able to read and write both in Mandarin or Cantonese and English.
- Cyberjaya, following HK working calendar
- Maintains a high level of accuracy (Quality) and seeks to improve individual quality scores from time to time.
- Maintains a high level of Productivity and seeks to improve individual productivity scores from time to time.
- Shows keenness to develop technical competency by improving claim or underwriting authority.
- Evaluate an individual's medical history or physical condition, occupational hazards, financial background, insurable interest, and other information to determine whether to accept, modify or decline a risk
- Explain and defend any underwriting or claims actions

**Job Requirement**
- Education: Diploma / Bachelor's Degree, in Medical Science, Bioscience, Biology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy or must be study in Medical science field..
- Customer oriented, self-motivated, and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Able to adapt to the desk-bound working environment, & able to work overtime beyond normal office hours
