School Counselor

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide individual counseling to students on academic challenges, personal concerns, social issues, and career planning.
- Assist students in developing academic plans, setting goals, and improving study skills.
- Facilitate workshops and individual sessions to address social-emotional learning, conflict resolution, and coping mechanisms.
- Work with teachers, administrators, parents, and community resources to ensure all students have the support they need.
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and track progress.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive school counseling program.
- Respond to student crises and emergencies, providing support and referrals as needed.
- Ensure the confidentiality of student information while following ethical and legal guidelines.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree/ Degree in Counseling or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students in a school setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Commitment to student success and creating a positive school climate.

**Salary**: RM1,658.31 - RM4,918.80 per month
