**Account Executive (Accounting & Finance)**
**Overview**:
As an Account Executive in the Accounting & Finance Department, your primary responsibility is to manage financial accounts, ensure accurate reporting, support financial analysis, conduct financial projections, and assist in financial audits. You'll work closely with the company director, accountants, and other departments - to maintain records, analyze data, contribute to financial decision-making, ensure compliance with accounting standards, facilitate audit processes, and provide support for various financial operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements, identify trends and discrepancies, and assist in financial forecasts and budgets.
2. Account Reconciliation and Management: Check and balance financial accounts, monitor payments and collections, and resolve any transaction issues.
3. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, prepare regulatory filings, and stay updated on industry regulations.
4. Financial Projection: Develop financial models for forecasting, analyze financial data to predict future trends, and provide insights to support strategic planning.
5. Accounting and Financial Operations Support: Assist in accounts payable/receivable processes, reconcile bank and credit card statements, prepare journal entries, assist in month-end and year-end close processes, and provide support for financial audits by preparing audit schedules, providing documentation, and addressing auditor inquiries.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting concepts and auditing principles
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to ethical conduct in handling sensitive financial information
- Proficiency in Excel and financial software.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications is a plus.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: RM1,900.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
