Shift Technician Leader

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of technicians in monitoring and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud-based systems.
- Oversee the execution of daily operational tasks, including system backups, software updates, and performance monitoring.
- Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with other teams, including Engineering, Security, and
- Operations, to ensure timely resolution of incidents and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback, coaching, and training to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvements and technological enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices related to IT operations and security.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in a technical support role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory position.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and IT service management frameworks is a plus.
