**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Creating and visualizing an idea and producing a design by hand or using computer-aided design (CAD)
- Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours and shapes
- Planning and developing ranges
- Liaising closely with production teams on an ongoing basis to ensure the item suits the customer, market and price points
- Understanding design from a technical perspective, i.e. Producing patterns, toile and technical specifications for designs
- Sourcing, selecting and buying fabrics, trims, fastenings and embellishments
- Developing a pattern that is cut and sewn into sample garments and supervising the making up of these, including fitting, detailing and adaptations
- Dealing and negotiating with tailors for sample preparation
- Preparation of supportive samples, fabric and accessories boards for seasonal presentation to Management team
- Analysis of fashion and trend websites, subscriptions and publications, market research, (overseas and local) and compilations of reports.
- Discuss design idea with sales and management team and get information about new styles and consumer preferences
- Represent the Company to discuss regarding fashion show and runaway
- Preparing inventory data for detailing and fabric
- Ensure sample to be made on time
- Report summary sample costing from every tailors
- Responsible for loan item for client
- Preparation SKUs for shoot, campaign and backstage
- Collaborating with the fashion designer, photographer, and makeup artist to put together a particular look or theme for the specific project
- Source fashion items and props for photographic shoots or film/tv personalities, or product placement in fashion magazines/media.
- Advise on photographic approaches and the selection of locations, props, clothing, models, and the overall look for photo shoots.
- Working together with Graphic team for shooting

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Fashion Designer: 1 year (preferred)
