**Job Description**:

- 1) Task under Production Department- Profile Section:
Profile and mass checking on individual bars is carried out.- Cut to-length Section:
Visually check on the straightness and appearances of the finished bars to ensure that there is no scaling, oval in shape and meet our customer requirements.- Bundling Section:
Ensure the bars are correctly counted in number of pieces for every size before being bundled and sent to the storage while pending for delivery.- Billet Section:
To check on incoming billets against delivery order received.- Loading Section:
Bars are correctly tagged for local/export market.- Mechanical Testing:
All bars are tested in accordance to Malaysia Standard, MS146 : 2014 and Australian Standard, A54671 :2001 requirements for every heat number and for every size.- Heat Number of Billets are recorded before charging into furnace.
- Bars are counted for every bundle for every size before delivery.

2) Task under QC Department- Responsible for carrying out quality inspection activities on incoming, in-process and

finished products to ensure conformity to the specifications.- Responsible to collect & record quality data in the inspection records and reports.
- To make preparation for quality inspection and testing status reports.
- To assist in control of non-conforming products or materials including proper identification

and segregation.- Responsible for advising the supervisor the non-conformity issues detected during inspection and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive action to be taken.
- To keep track on the rejected and reworked products.
- To comply with the Company occupational safety, health and environment rules and regulations.

3) Task under Mechanical Department- Responsible in daily checking and recording data of machineries.
- Responsible in daily troubleshooting of all machines and utilities.
- Responsible in meeting/ fabrication of machine spare parts.
- Responsible in doing minor/ major preventive maintenance of machineries as plan by engineer/ manager.
- Responsible to train newly employed junior technician as per training matrix prepared by engineer/ manager.
- Able to give proposal/ suggestion on any machine upgrading/ improvement.

4) Other/ Duties:
- To carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by superiors from time to time.

- i) Other courses related to mechanical courses- Minimum 1 year of working experience in mechanical maintenance.
- Must have basic skills in welding.
- Good communication in Bahasa Melayu, able to read and write in English.
- Must be willing to work for overtime and shift hours.
- Working day: 6 days per week.
- Physically fit and healthy.
- Must be willing to work at Bukit Raja (Klang) / Petaling Jaya (Jalan Tandang).
- Full-Time position(s) available.
