**Position: Compounding Manager**

**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compounding Manager. The Compounding Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the compounding process within our glove manufacturing facility. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our products while also optimizing production efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:
**Compounding Process Management**
- Oversee the compounding process from raw material selection to mixing and blending to ensure the production of high-quality glove compounds.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for compounding operations to maintain consistency and efficiency.
- Monitor compounding equipment performance and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed to minimize downtime.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Implement quality control measures to ensure that compounded materials meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of compounded materials to identify and address any quality issues promptly.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to investigate and resolve product quality concerns or non-conformities.

**Team Leadership and Development**:

- Lead and mentor a team of compounding technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the compounding department, encouraging innovation and efficiency initiatives.

**Inventory Management**:

- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and chemicals used in the compounding process, ensuring adequate supply while minimizing waste and excess inventory.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to source and procure raw materials at competitive prices and in accordance with production schedules.

**Compliance and Safety**
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
- Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular safety training, and addressing any safety concerns proactively.

**Qualifications & Experiences Needed**
- Bachelor's degree/ Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compounding operations, preferably in the manufacturing industry, with a demonstrated track record of leadership and achievement.
- Strong technical knowledge of compounding processes, materials science, and quality control principles.
- Experience with rubber compounding is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and safety standards relevant to manufacturing operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence at all levels of the organization.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Klang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
