Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance technician is an all in one position. Although the main focus for the position is for an Air-conditioning technician, it will be also responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the maintenance and repair activities of the whole organization. This role involves managing together with the Head of Maintenance, ensuring the efficient operation of equipment and facilities, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. Identifying maintenance risks on equipment. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults on all air-conditioning unit. Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing.
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify the problems and fix them.
- Complete regular maintenance tasks, amongst others, such as replacing light bulbs and minor repairs.
- Ability to read and understand test equipment, measuring devices, and safety manuals.
- Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on all types of equipment.
- Service and maintains the company’s facility and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Head of Maintenance and Resident Manager.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
- Ability to focus attention on details, speed and accuracy and deliver assignments on a timely manner.
- Understand and operate/fix advanced electrical or plumbing-related issues.
- Attend daily general briefing with all the departments
- Daily checks of water pumps, lobby waterfall, main pool waterfall, bamboo lights, rooms filter pumps and heaters
- To check incoming power supply (msb/amp)
- Ensure to always maintain the store cleanliness

**Job Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an Air-conditioning technician
- Fresh graduate is welcome to apply.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
- Ability to multi-task and coordinate within different departments.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia and ability to work with all levels of staff.
- Ability to work on weekends and Public Holidays.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
