**ABOUT ROLE**:
This newly designed and introduced role of Director, Procurement - Global Indirect will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and enable execution around our global Indirect spend.

Our global Materials Group comprises Label and Packaging Materials, Graphics Solutions, Reflective Solutions, and Performance Materials businesses and this role will seamlessly be tying your efforts across those respective businesses. Reporting directly to the Group Vice President, Global Procurement, this leader will build an organization that will enable execution of the strategy built by this leader.

**Critical Objectives**:
The Director of Global Procurement will play a pivotal role in developing and executing procurement strategies to optimize costs, streamline processes, and ensure the timely and efficient sourcing of goods and services across our global operations. This individual will lead a team of procurement professionals, establish strong supplier relationships, and implement best practices to support the company's objectives and drive continuous improvement.
- Spend Smarter Mindset: This leader will help us imbibe a “spend smarter” mindset across the organization. From policy enhancements to process compliance and from cross functional partnerships to facilitation of dialogue where spending habits within the enterprise are discussed and worked upon.
- Buy Better Mindset: Imbibe the Buy Better mindset which will enable strategic sourcing process implementation when it comes to understanding the need, assessing the market supply availability, driving the selection process and furnishing contracts that will clearly tie out payment for performance that is defined through clear and measurable service level agreements.
- Leadership of Community: Build, lead and mentor a high-performing global procurement team that currently operates regionally and create career pathing opportunities for our talent. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Central Focus on Key Categories: Evaluate the structural necessities on global/central categories such as Capital Expenditure, Travel and Living, Ocean Freight etc. and drive an united effort with a bigger scale and enhanced results.
- Process Leadership: In partnership with the Procurement Operational Excellence team and GMPLT, Implement robust procurement processes and systems to enhance efficiency, visibility, and compliance. Oversee risk management and compliance within the procurement function, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in procurement, driving continuous learning and development within the team.
- Market Understanding and Estimation: Monitor market trends and industry dynamics to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the procurement function.
- KPI Management: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure procurement performance, providing regular reporting and insights to senior management.
