Draughtsperson / Drafter

Using CAD and other computer systems, prepare detailed drawings of solar arrays, and other structural features, used in our engineering projects pre-installation. Will use knowledge of construction materials, construction practices, engineering practices, and mathematics to complete drawings and provide estimates of materials. - Draw solar system drawings with CAD software - Assembling drawings and details pertinent to the PV system - Preparation of engineering drawings and documents such as PV layout, single-line diagram, stringing layout, mounting structure drawings, compile equipment documentation and specification sheets, etc. - Ensure all drawings are checked and approved - Translate and convert hand drawings and sketches into CAD systems when required - Maintain CAD templates and libraries of engineering drawings up to the latest revision level - Coordinate with the project team and engineering team on all technical aspects of each project to update/made changes to correspondence drawings - Participate in project meetings when required
