Purchaser - Steel Structure

**Job Responsibility**:
- Carry out the day-to-day purchasing activities in accordance with the company purchasing policies and procedures. Whenever required, participate in negotiation between the company and suppliers on purchasing exercises.
- Process and verify purchase requests for accuracy. Ensure accuracy of order placement, method of shipment, timely delivery and payment term with suppliers.
- Join in strategic sourcing activities, bid evaluation, vendor/supplier selection and evaluation as part of the corporate strategic purchasing process to reduce lead-time and cost maintain competitive opportunities.
- Responsible to verify the vendor's DO, invoices, relevant supporting document and related transactions for accounts payable.
- To supervise and provide guidance to the vendor invoice matching team by manage, plan and monitor the team resources effectively.
- To ensure all transaction are confirmed with the relevant partied and recorded accurately.
- To attend all enquiries from the vendors, clients, stakeholders to resolve their queries, disputes, and discrepancies.
- To review and enhance existing Purchasing and AP processes and fully utilize existing system and resources for better control and efficiency.
- Identify the current purchasing and accounts payable issue and drive efficiently for better improvements by collaborate with internal and external stakeholder.
- To handle any ad-hoc duties or project related to Purchasing Activities and Accounts Payable.
**Job Requirement**:
- At least 2 years, preferable with steel structural purchasing and procurement experience.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
