**INTERNSHIP IN ACCOUNT OR FINANCE**

**Position**: Accountancy Intern

**Duration**: 3 - 6 months

**Location**: Setia Alam, Selangor

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Financial Data Entry**:

- Assist in entering and updating financial data in accounting software.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

**Reconciliation**:

- Support in bank and account reconciliations.
- Assist in reconciling discrepancies in financial statements.
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**:

- Help process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Support in managing accounts receivable by preparing and sending invoices, and following up on outstanding payments.

**Financial Reporting**:

- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support the compilation and analysis of financial information to prepare entries to accounts.

**Audit Support**:

- Assist in the preparation of documents and schedules for internal and external audits.
- Support audit processes by gathering and organizing relevant financial information.

**Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Help in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
- Assist in forecasting financial performance and analyzing variances.

**Taxation**:

- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and related documentation.
- Support the team in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and filing deadlines.

**Special Projects**:

- Participate in special projects and initiatives aimed at improving financial processes and systems.
- Conduct research and analysis on financial topics as assigned.

**Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

**Skills**:

- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
