Position Overview:
As a Preschool Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the early educational experiences of young children. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of preschool-aged children. You will work collaboratively with other educators, parents, and administrators to create a comprehensive curriculum that meets the developmental needs of each child and fosters a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Curriculum Development:

- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that align with the preschool curriculum standards.
- Integrate various learning domains, including language and literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, art, music, and physical education.
- Adapt curriculum to accommodate the diverse needs and interests of individual children, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Classroom Management:

- Establish and maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Develop and enforce classroom rules and behavioral expectations that promote positive social interactions and self-discipline.
- Implement effective strategies for managing transitions, routines, and classroom activities to optimize learning opportunities.
- Child Assessment and Progress Monitoring:

- Conduct ongoing assessments of children's developmental progress and academic achievements using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of children's growth, development, and learning outcomes.
- Use assessment data to inform instructional decisions, identify areas for improvement, and develop individualized learning plans.
- Parent Communication and Engagement:

- Establish and maintain open and transparent communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and overall well-being.
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to support children's learning and development at home through regular updates, conferences, and workshops.
- Provide resources and guidance to parents/guardians on promoting positive parenting practices and reinforcing classroom learning experiences.
- Professional Development and Collaboration:

- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance teaching skills, stay updated on best practices, and meet licensing requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives, policies, and procedures.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, mutual respect, and continuous improvement within the preschool community.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Malaysia teaching certification/license for early childhood education ( Kursus Asuhan Permata )
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles, early learning standards, and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team and independently.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom and the broader community.

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
