DepartmentOperations- LevelExperienced (Individual Contributor)- LocationMalaysia - Kuala LumpurThe Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
- Perform daily payout activities to both Shopee buyers and sellers on a daily or weekly basis by consolidating requests from internal teams and ensuring the proper due diligence performed prior to any payout activities.
- Perform scheduled payout activities to other internal Shopee entities by consolidating approved requests from internal stakeholders and ensuring the proper due diligence performed prior to any payout activities.
- Partner with Product and Technical teams to solve problems, identify trends and opportunities for payments & refund optimisation.
- Lead and / or actively participate in regionally or locally driven initiatives for process improvements relating to payment systems.
- Track, analyze, influence, and communicate key metrics to influence decisions and new payments initiatives.
- Rotational support on campaign days to ensure payment channel availability.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the Business

**Requirements**:

- At least 1-2 years working experience
- Analytical and strong attention to detail required
- Strong critical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working within a technology organization
- Advanced Excel skills with knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) and Power Query (plus).
- Previous experience in payments a must
- Experience in fintech, banking or finance background a definite plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills a must (English preferred)
- Proactive, energetic, fast pace, meticulous
- Smart, self-learning and resourceful
