Assisting ESH Officer in implementing and maintaining Environmental, Safety and Health (ESH) Management system and to ensure it complies with relevant statutory requirements at all time. This shall include the International Standard (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001), local regulation & legal requirement and code of practice, schedule waste management system etc.
- To assist ESH Officer in managing the Emergency Response Team committee in ensuring,
- a. Periodically inspection of emergency response equipment; spill kit, fire extinguishers, shower/eye wash, first-aid, hydrant & fire panel etc.
- b. Provide proper training for ERT to ensure he/she is well equipped for tasks given.
- c. Able to make immediate action efficiently during emergency occurrences (first respondent to deal with crisis is ERT).
- d. To keep all record of accident or environment cases in the plant. Chemical Management.
- a. Ensure chemical register is up to date.
- b. Submit chemical inventory to DOSH every year.
- c. Assist in compiling RM/FG SDS from respective department (verified and complete & upload to public server).
- Contractor, Visitor & Staff. a. To brief contractor & vendor before issuing permit / hot work permit. b. Conduct inspection and issue non-compliance for any con-compliances in NPM.
- Ensure PPE inventory is updated and to monitor usage from each department. a. Keep inventory record of PPE request. b. To order & keep sufficient stock of PPE items.
- Assist ESH Officer & SHC on hazard assessment in workplace, assisting in accident reporting & planning for safety program. a. To conduct HIRARC at workplace (SHC Gemba & action taken). b. Recommendation to improve on any hazardous work area. c. Achieving ESH planning on all activities; safety program - safety day, road traffic awareness campaign, etc.
- To carry out customer safety initiatives/program in accordance with its requirement (CCCF/ Safety Gemba/etc).
- Supervise firefighting appliances vendor when servicing & to monitor periodically check by external provider and to ensure vendor are able to provide consultation and other requirement if any.
- To assist ESH Officer in providing technical & legal advice to respective HOD / Management.
- To assist SHC when conducting meeting & SHC program.
- To perform any other job task that may assigned from time to time.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months
**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
