**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manage and monitor the deployment to ensure NPI is conducted in accordance requirements.
- Attend NPI Kick-Off Meeting and understand the build plan, customer requirement, shipment date and communication channels.
- Lead and ensure all process and product related findings being captured, identified, analyzed and improved before proceed to next stage of build. This including request of design change, only when critically required.
- Lead in the completion of Product & Process Audit Report and monitor through its closure in each builds. NPI Quality Manager reserves the authority to make suggestion to postpone the progress, in the scenario of critical findings (safety/functional/reliability) not resolved.
- Interpret specification drawing for the purpose of identifying CTQ (Critical To Quality) check points that needs to be implemented into manufacturing process.
- Taking part in the completion of Process Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (PFMEA) under Engineering’s ownership.
- All CTQ check points into Control Plan (CP), and further implement the controls through quality inspection checklists and relevant Quality Standard Instruction (QSI).
- Lead QA Team to inspect all incoming parts to ensure only qualified parts being used in NPI production. NPI QA Manager shall also monitor production part approval status, especially at PP stage where ISIR approvals are essentially required before mass production. This including DRMS of each production parts.
- Conducts training to all NPI staff for their awareness of customer requirements.
- Taking part in the evaluation of jigs & fixtures deployment to production line, in quality point of view.
- Identify the needs of CTQ measurement, and communicate Engineering Team to obtain CTQ Jigs in order to fulfill inspection requirement.
- Responsible for overall quality control operation and shall identify the needs of manpower/resources.
- Along with Production & Engineering counterparts, shall assist Program Manager for the completion of Project Readiness Checklist.
- Responsible for the submission of Release Package at PP Stage/new SKU with relevant sampling plan defined. NPI QA Manager reserves the authority to hold the shipment if products failed to meet required standard.
- Ensure production is run by well trained Production Operators & reliable equipment by evaluating line performance with First Pass Yield / Rolled Throughput Yield monitoring, as well as routine quality inspection. In the scenario of failed to meet yield target or repeating occurrence of rejects, NPI QA Manager shall drive Production & Engineering counterparts for immediate improvement by RCCA/CAR/8D approach.
- Involve into NPI part segregation process to ensure no mixing or usage of non-NPI parts. NPI QA manager shall also define the location & relevant process for handling non-conformance parts.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Minimum a recognized Advance Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of QA managerial experience in manufacturing industry.
- Professional knowledge in Quality Management System, 8 Discipline Problem Solving Skills, QC 7 Tools and Six Sigma.
- Must be able to speak and write fluent English & Malay.
