Look no further Temple Tree Resort, Langkawi has an exciting opportunity for an Event Sales Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in generating revenue through a diverse range of events, meetings, social activities, and weddings.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to drive event revenue growth, with a focus on social events, weddings, and meetings.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, event organizers, and other relevant stakeholders to generate leads and secure bookings.
- Conduct market research to identify potential event opportunities and stay updated with industry trends.
- Collaborate with the Resort team to create compelling event packages and promotional materials.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including initial client inquiries, customized proposals, contract negotiations, and post-event follow-ups.
- Coordinate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of events and exceed client expectations.
- Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and community gatherings to expand the resort's reach and establish the resort as a preferred event destination.
- Monitor event revenue performance and provide regular reports to the management team.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in event sales, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- A self-starter and responsible personality.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain strong client relationships in English, Bahasa and preferably a third language like Mandarin
- Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
- Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to develop unique event concepts, packages in line with the resort’s positioning.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the nature of the event industry.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences.
- Mainly based in Kuala Lumpur and with frequent travel to Langkawi.
