Jr. Chemist

**Responsibilities**:
Assist Senior Chemist to:

- Set up laboratory and build up company’s capability and capacity to conduct all necessary tests for production quality control, shipment quality control and feedstock and input chemicals receiving quality control.
- The said tests include (but not limited to) tests for methyl ester under EN 14214 and ASTM 6751 standards and tests for vegetable oils under PORAM standards.
- Work with Production team to improve manufacturing yield, develop system and schedule for sample taking. To ensure that all products meet required specifications.
- Assist to manage and train all employee to ensure that they strictly adherence to testing methods procedures and maintain laboratory safety standards at all time.
- Responsible for overall laboratory management such as chemicals control, equipment maintenance, calibration, waste handling, housekeeping and filing.
- Develop laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Represents the company in overseeing all quantity and quality surveying activities by independent testing and surveyor companies.
- Keep up-to-date on latest testing methods and requirements as required for the Company’s products and services.
- Work on research and development efforts initiated by the management.
- Issuing and signing of Certificates of Analysis.
- Responsible to oversee the Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) operations. Maintain the environment quality as per Department of Environment (DOE), Sewage Industrial Effluent Regulations and local authority rules and regulations at all time
